Starting September 5 at 9 p.m. on Unis TV, Mario Cyr and Samuel Côté return for a third and final season of Secrets des profondeurs, more colorful and filled with discoveries than ever before. Produced by PVP MEDIA, the 13 episodes of the series were directed by Éli Laliberté, Rémi Meloche, Yanick Legrand, and Sébastien Goyette.
After months of filming across the country to uncover the secrets of various lakes, bodies of water, flooded sites, and forgotten shipwrecks, Mario Cyr and Samuel Côté embark on brand new quests, following the trail of documented mysteries that history has sometimes forgotten. They aim to uncover ship remains, car wrecks, ancient artifacts, relics of the past, and sites submerged underwater to reveal captivating stories.
Among their investigations this season, they will confirm the exact causes of several shipwrecks, shed light on the mysteries surrounding various wrecks, and delve into the fascinating history of Anticosti Island, nicknamed the "graveyard of the gulf" for tragic reasons. In the first episode, airing Thursday, September 5 at 9 p.m., Sam and Mario travel to Kingston, Ontario, to investigate the wreck of the George A. Marsh, which sank in 1917. To this day, there are stories suggesting that the ship's captain may have survived the tragedy and mysteriously disappeared after the shipwreck. While Mario explores the remains of the wreck, Sam will attempt to shed light on the fate of Captain Smith.
