Two-Spirit

Historical evidence shows that different sexual orientations were traditionally accepted and integrated in Indigenous society. This is one of many values that changed following colonization, but which seems to be being restored. This documentary series explores the lives of the individuals around the world who identify as Two-Spirit, and introduces viewers to those working to restore this aspect of their culture.
